Selecting A Franchise: Advisory Assistance

Option One

  • Utilize our free franchise consulting service.       Click Here

Option Two
  • Do it yourself. Steps to select a franchise:

Step 1 - We advise you to first think about and then write down priorities you have for selection of a franchise. Click here to access our Worksheet for Setting Franchise Priorities. Please print up, fill out and use this as your starting point.

Step 2 - Analyze your answers and make a list of what your "ideal franchise" would be. No way around it now. You must do heavy-duty research to find "the one."

Step 3 - After you have gone through all the research, you may have a list of four or five franchise posibilities. What do you do next?

  • First, you can access the franchisor’s website and/or contact the franchisor to request information, i.e. brochures and other materials, from the franchise system.

  • Second, if you are seriously interested in a specific franchise system, you can contact the franchisor and request a Uniform Franchising Offering Circular (UFOC). Be warned though that the franchisor might not give out a copy of their UFOC until you have filled out financial statements and/or shown a strong interest in the franchise system. Order a selected UFOC from Franchise Help.

  • Finally, if you do not have the time to do a proper evaluation of the franchise systems, or you would like some assistance in doing so, please contact FranchiseHelp. We have a variety of franchise evaluation services to assist you. Email us at company@franchisehelp.com to discuss your franchise selection needs.
