Floorguard’s concrete preparation is second to none. First, the process involves removing the top thin layers of the concrete substrate, to ensure there are no contaminants to interfere with the bond between the bond coat and the concrete substrate. The bond coat material penetrates deep into the concrete, creating a tight bond that will last for years. Floorguard then applies a heavy blanket of media to excess into the bond coat, creating a heavy, durable foundation. Once that has cured, Floorguard applies a CR Top Coat, a thick, chemical and UV resistant topcoat made to encapsulate the media, giving a rich, touch, beautiful finished floor.
