Home Helpers Featured in New York Times
Franchise Help client Home Helpers was featured recently in a New York Times article about the options seniors and their families face finding living arrangements for aging seniors who are no longer able to live fully independently. Emma Dickison, president of Home Helpers, which provides medical and non-medical care for seniors at their homes, discussed the importance of fit between an aide and a senior. Dickison said that while she encouraged clients to give their aides a couple of weeks to get acclimated, something as simple as making toast the wrong way would be sufficient reason for a switch in personnel.
