Types of BGR Franchise Opportunities

Single Unit Franchise:Establish and operate one BGR restaurant. The Franchise Fee is $40,000 for a single unit. Once BGR has approved your site submittal, and a lease has been executed for that location, your site's "Protective Area" and designated "Marketing Area" will be established and stipulated in writing. The total estimated initial investment to develop and open a single BGR Franchise Restaurant ranges from $199,500 to $599,500, which includes the $40,000 franchise fee.

Multi-Unit Franchise:Qualified franchisees can purchase additional BGR Franchises by executing a "Multi-Unit Agreement." The Multi-Unit Agreement establishes an opening schedule for all Restaurants and locks in your important terms for all Franchise Agreements executed under this program. The Franchise Fee for your additional units are as follows: $30,000 each for units 2 and 3; $20,000 each for units 4 and 5. All additional franchises must be purchased at the same time as your first franchise, and all Franchise Fees are paid up front. For each subsequent franchise, you will execute a Franchise Agreement, choose your location, submit it for approval, and once a lease is executed, you will receive in writing your exclusive "Protective Area" and your designated "Marketing Area" for that location.

Area Developer Program:Receive the exclusive right to develop, open, and operate multiple BGR restaurants within an area defined as the "Development Area." The number of restaurants to be developed, and the annual opening(s) schedule, will be determined by a number of factors including geographic area, demographics and other matters. An upfront "Area Exclusivity Fee" of $20,000 per BGR Restaurant to be developed (total number of Restaurants) is to be paid upon the execution of the "Area Development Agreement." Your "Area Development Agreement" precludes the opening of any other BGR Restaurants in your Development Area, and locks in your monetary terms for all Franchise Agreements executed under this program. The Franchise Fee for all units to be developed in your Development Area is $10,000, payable per the terms of your Area Developer Agreement. For each BGR Restaurant, you will sign the Franchise Agreement; select and obtain approval from BGR your location; and subsequently you will receive in writing your Protective Area and your designated Marketing Area for that location.
