Bobbles & Lace Franchise History

Bobbles & Lace is a women's clothing and accessories franchise that was founded in 2006 by Katie Covington and Laura Dooley in Providence, Rhode Island. The first Bobbles & Lace store was a small boutique that quickly gained popularity among locals and tourists for its unique, trendy clothing and affordable prices.

In 2008, Covington and Dooley opened a second store in Newport, Rhode Island, and continued to expand the franchise over the next few years, opening additional stores in Massachusetts and Connecticut. By 2015, Bobbles & Lace had grown to six locations across New England.

In 2016, Covington and Dooley decided to sell the franchise to entrepreneur, Amy Rice. Rice brought her experience in the retail industry to the brand and continued to expand the business, opening new locations in New York City and New Jersey.

Today, Bobbles & Lace has a total of nine locations and is known for its trendy and affordable clothing, accessories, and gifts. The franchise has become a beloved shopping destination for women of all ages, offering a range of styles from casual to formal wear.
