When Bonnie and Dominick Fimiano introduced an espresso cart to their catering business, demand for the service quickly grew. They decided to establish the concept as a separate business in 1996, creating Café Ala Carte. The company started franchising in 1999. Franchisees own and operate mobile espresso carts and cater corporate events, weddings, holiday parties, conventions and other occassions.
