In 1988, Color Your Carpet, Inc., was formally founded, and Connie B. D’Imperio was appointed CEO. The company began franchising in 1989, in Florida, New Jersey, Iowa and Pennsylvania. In 1990, D’Imperio acquired Color Your Carpet and moved the headquarters to Florida.
