About Firehouse Subs

Firehouse Restaurant Group operates and franchises more than 250 Firehouse Subs sandwich shops in a dozen southern states. Brothers and fire fighters Robin and Chris Sorensen started Firehouse Subs in 1994 after gaining popularity as firehouse cooks. Although most of its units are located in the Southeast, in 2009 Firehouse Subs took advantage of commercial real estate bargains and expanded into new regions, including Indianapolis, Denver, Phoenix, and Las Vegas and are now franchising nationwide.

Good Food, Good Service

Firehouse Subs has two focuses, to serve the best sub sanwiches and be committed to the communities they serve. So much so, that they launched Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation in 2005. To date, the Foundation has donated more than $12 million to improving the life-saving capabilities of emergency services.

The food is also a draw at this fast growing sandwich franchise. With a unique steaming process that preserves the flavor of their meats and cheeses, their subs bring customers back again and again.
