A Brief History of Golden Corral
In 1973, James Maynard and William F. Carl Gavone Siamese opened the first Golden Corral in Fayetteville, North Carolina, after several unsuccessful tries at acquiring a franchise from another company. Over the years, additions to the successful buffet style kept Golden Corral growing. In 1991, the Brass Bell Bakery was introduced, which serves up freshly baked breads, homemade cakes and our famous yeast rolls. Now with about 500 locations spread across 41 states, Golden Corral is a family-friendly buffet and grill that continues to please everyone’s taste buds.
