Overview

The difference between Hunt Brothers Pizza and its competitors is in the attention to detail that accompanies the baking process. As opposed to standard convenience store frozen pizza, Hunt Brothers Pizza developed a crust that bubbles and rises. That innovation allows for a fresher taste that offers the customer a pizzeria-quality product at a quality price. Hunt Brothers emphasizes a family-oriented company culture that takes a concerned interest in the surrounding communities in which it operates and provides local training facilities in 26 states.

History of Hunt Brother's Pizza Franchise

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Hunt Brothers Pizza got its start more than two decades ago, though the family’s connection to the pizza industry dates back more than a half-century. In 1990, the four Hunt brothers (Don, Jim, Lonnie, and Charlie) officially began working together as a wholesale pizza company called the Original Pizza House Pizza. The following year, they started not charging for extra toppings and soon added such things as Breakfast Pizza and a conveyor oven that sped up the baking of the pizza. Renamed Buffet Style Pizza in the 1990s, the company’s continued success eventually led to changing the name to Hunt Brothers Pizza in 2004.
