Absentee ownership is not permitted, franchisees are excepted to manage their J.J. Bakery location full time. Although J.J. Bakery will not assist its franchisees with funding, it does provide thorough training for running the bakery and participate in the location selection process. The ideal J.J. Bakery location is in a 1,000 to 2,000 square foot space situated in a mall, shopping plaza, or office building with a lot of pedestrian (or vehicular) traffic.
