Pick-em Up Truck Store was opened in 1989 by Gary Owens and Marlene Stickelman, having a total of 15 years combined experience in bedliner distribution with Durakon Industries and truck accessory sales. In 2003 Pick-em Up Truck Store franchising corporation began developing a program to co-brand and offer a franchise program to augment or supplement an existing automotive related business. The Accessory Outlet Center by Pick-Em Up Truck Store was introduced in Statesville, North Carolina at Lebo’s Tire Center in December.
