With the success of the first Sweet River, the Souzas’ landlord, Hugh Codding, decided to open a second Sweet River location, in Santa Rosa, California. His restaurant exceeded expectations. Since it first opened, Sweet River Grill & Bar has expanded with locations in Modesto, Turlock, Clovis and Santa Rosa, Pleasanton, Eureka and Springfield, California. Sweet River Grill & Bar is headquartered in Modesto, California.
