Tropik Sun Fruit & Nut

Tropik Sun began in the summer of 1980 in downtown Chicago as a specialty retail chain offering a variety of nuts, dried fruit, trail mixes, carob/yogurt covered nuts and fruit, as well as fresh squeezed orange juice. The first introduction of candy to the menu came in fall of 1980 with the addition of the now world famous gourmet Jelly Belly. At the same time, we expanded the menu to include jumbo chocolate items such as giant turtles, peanut butter cups and huge chocolate-covered Oreo cookies. Over the past 30 years, Tropik Sun grew throughout the Midwest and Southwest, eventually expanding to over thirty states from New York to California.
