Our program originates from Dr. A.T.W. Simeons’ revolutionary approach to weight loss. Dr. Simeons spent a great deal of time in India where he observed many pregnant women who were malnourished and severely underweight, but still gave birth to healthy and robust babies. He could not understand how the babies could be so healthy when their mothers were so malnourished. This intrigued Dr. Simeons and motivated him to start researching these women. His research led to a discovery that pregnant women produce a polypeptide hormone called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG). The HCG hormone is produced to draw fat from the secondary fat reserves to feed a developing unborn child so it won’t become malnourished. Thus, Dr. Simeons further researched the mechanism of HCG and how it related to reducing obesity. In the late 1950’s, he discovered that virtually all overweight people had a low metabolism, constant/intense hunger, and massive food cravings; causing them to eat even when they were not hungry.

Our clinical average weight loss in women is typically about a pound to of a pound of fat per day and in men 1 full pound of fat loss per day.
