The History Behind Blaze Pizza

Inspired by the efficiency of Chipotle, Blaze Pizza founders Rick and Elise Wetzel decided to create a pizza place that offered tasty, customizable pies without the wait. Hip to the world of franchises, the Wetzels had also started Wetzel’s Pretzels in 1990, which has more than 300 locations across the country.
