The difference in educational approaches is what helps Eye Level continue to provide a unique impact nearly four decades since its beginning. Focusing exclusively on the subjects of Math and English allows for an individualized approach that emphasizes critical thinking when it comes to solving problems or being able to handle the basics of communication. In addition, students can advance as quickly as they master the available material, and are not forced to continuing doing work for their grade level. The success of Eye Level has as its cornerstone a devotion to establishing high standards to focus on the overall potential of a student instead of such controversial approaches as “teaching to the test.”
