Eye Level Learning Centers are situated all across the world, offering students after school opportunities to grasp integral concepts related to the subjects of Math and English that they may not be getting through their regular education. With the Math instruction, two sections exist: Basic Thinking, which deals with the traditional basics; and Critical Thinking, which approaches such concepts as patterns, measurement and reasoning. Worldwide, there are over 2 million students in the program at over 1,100 locations. With English instruction, reading, writing, speaking and listening are all emphasized so that those skills will translate into greater understanding in the future.

The difference in educational approaches is what helps Eye Level continue to provide a unique impact nearly four decades since its beginning. Focusing exclusively on the subjects of Math and English allows for an individualized approach that emphasizes critical thinking when it comes to solving problems or being able to handle the basics of communication. In addition, students can advance as quickly as they master the available material, and are not forced to continuing doing work for their grade level. The success of Eye Level has as its cornerstone a devotion to establishing high standards to focus on the overall potential of a student instead of such controversial approaches as “teaching to the test.”
