Rush Bowls was launched in 2004, when founder, Andrew Pudalov, decided to leave the hustle and bustle of New York’s financial scene to pursue his dream of creating a healthy, fast-dining restaurant that fueled people’s lives with honest ingredients and delicious recipes. As a result, Rush Bowls was born in Boulder, Colorado, offering meals crafted from the finest fruit, topped with granola & honey, and blended with protein, vitamins and other nutritious ingredients that taste delicious while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Over the past decade, Rush Bowls has cultivated a loyal following and developed a successful business model by perfecting menu items, processes, vendor relationships and marketing practices. During that time, Andrew had received hundreds of inquiries about franchise opportunities, but he chose to stay focused on fine-tuning the Rush Bowls’ concept… until now.

Mark Kranjcec - Chief Marketing Officer
Mark Kranjcec brings 15 years of marketing expertise to his role at Rush Bowls Franchising. Over that time, he has consulted and guided thousands of businesses ranging from local sole proprietors to international companies in both traditional and digital marketing. As Director of Digital Solutions for 17 MediaNews Group properties, he led sales teams and thrived at creating marketing and advertising programs that delivered results for local entrepreneurs. During his tenure at the digital agency Fruition, he consulted and led initiatives for international clients such as Creative Learning Corporation (corporate and franchise divisions), Kia, CKE and Coats & Clark amongst others. Mark’s approach to marketing can be summarized this way: “You never accomplish anything meaningful by trying to convince consumers that your product is the best out there. Instead, you look for ways to connect with people and groups who share similar values to yours and initiate an ongoing conversation. Marketing must communicate both ways for you to grow.”
Whitney Rajotte - Director of Development
Whitney Rajotte is the current Director of Development for Rush Bowls. She
brings 10 years of various restaurant experience and 3 years of working
directly with Buddy Brown’s franchise operations. During her restaurant years,
she helped open 4 restaurants and was involved in hiring, training, menu
development, and bar design.
Since moving to Boulder, Whitney has worked closely with Buddy and his franchise support staff. Her tasks have been numerous and she has greatly expanded her knowledge of the functions of operating a large scale franchise. Whitney is very much looking forward to this opportunity with Rush Bowls to promote excellent customer service with a brand based on healthy living and eating.
Buddy Brown Founder - Partner
Dewey R. “Buddy” Brown has been involved in restaurant operations for over 30 years. He currently owns and operates nearly 300 restaurants, including Hardee’s, Carl’s Jr.’s, Dunkin Donuts, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut Express. Buddy has been an Operator and Partner in Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s since 1998. Over that time, Buddy has won numerous operational awards, most notably: the Founder’s Trophy for Franchisee of the Year in 2002 and 2008; Sales Building award for the largest sales increase in 2008, 2013, 2014 and 2015; Developer of The Year 2008 and 2015, and was Carl’s Jr. Franchisee of the Year in 2013 and 2015. Buddy’s operational excellence is so highly regarded by CKE, that he has been awarded many corporate stores with the knowledge that he is able to improve operations better than anyone in the industry.
Prior to his franchise experience with Carl’s Jr. and Hardees, Buddy earned an MBA from the University of Missouri, was VP of Operations and Managing Partner for Mélange, Inc. (an acclaimed fine to casual dining restaurant group in Los Angeles), and successfully revived an under performing restaurant group in Hawaii.
Andrew Pudalov Founder & CEO
Andrew Pudalov spent fifteen years working his way up through the competitive
ranks of New York City’s financial sector. In 2004, he decided to leave his
position as Head of a Global Fixed Income Derivative Desk at National
Australia Bank and pursue a new career path that was more in line with his
personal values and ambitions.
Andrew launched Rush Bowls in Boulder, Colorado in 2004, with a vision to
create an environment where people could eat healthy, eat well, and truly
enjoy the unadulterated and organic elements of the earth.
RUSH BOWLS enormous success as a retail establishment paved the way for Andrew
to launch the RUSH BOWLS wholesale line, which is available in Whole Foods and
other national retailers.
Both RUSH BOWLS retail and wholesale businesses have enjoyed regional and
national acclaim as Andrew [and his team] maintain their commitment to
spreading the joys of pure, honest nutrition.
