The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) estimates massage therapy was a $12-17 billion industry in 2010.

From July 2008 through July 2009, an estimated 48 million American adults received at least one massage.

Bloomberg Business Week ranked massage therapy one of its top 10 careers for 2011. U.S. News and World Report named massage therapy one of the 50 best careers.

More growth is expected in massage therapy than most other industries over the next decade. The U.S. Labor Department estimates an expansion of almost 20 percent.

An increasing number of healthcare providers are complementing their treatment recommendations through therapeutic body work. According to the American Massage Therapy Association’s 2009 Consumer Survey Fact Sheet, 52 percent of people who discussed massage therapy with their doctors said their physicians strongly encouraged them to get a massage. Amongst Physical Therapists 42% recommended massage therapy to their patients.

Our affordable franchise solution under the Structura Body Therapies brand is the first and currently only franchise in the advanced body therapies field. Our standard franchise offer includes a body therapy clinic with reception and two therapy rooms. Our highly effective, sought after myofascial therapies include Structural Integration, Functional Movement Therapy, Structural Physiotherapy, Injury Work and our Signature Massage.

As a franchisee of Structura you are as interested in the well-being of your clients as much as the bottom line of your business. You understand and appreciate the benefits of following a proven system and are willing to conduct your business according to the processes, procedures and directions of your franchisor.

You as an owner/operator or your branch manager, if you are a franchise investor, as well as your therapists are graduates from a 500 plus hour program with an accredited massage school. Advanced therapy trainings are a plus but not a requirement as we will teach your therapists our therapy methods in Structura’s own proprietary training program.

You know how to motivate, coach and lead staff as well as communicate well with clients. You are motivated, self-driven, accountable, ethical, honest, reliable, confident and teachable.
