Zoom Room also offers an open gym where dogs can experience quality exercise time, regardless of the weather conditions. The Zoom Room franchise was created by Jaime Van Wye who had previously founded Rover Kennels, which soon became the boarding facility to the stars, including Tyra Banks, Kelly Clarkson and Tom Cruise.

Our founder, Jaime Van Wye, serves as the National Dog Daycare Chair of the Pet Care Services Association, and has been helping entrepreneurs create successful dog businesses for the past fifteen years. She conceived the Zoom Room as a franchise from its very inception, in order to put the FUN back into owning and running a dog business. Description of Training Process:

Our proprietary online classroom is like a grad school course in dog behavior, providing a comprehensive educational background. After completing this course at your own pace, completing all assignments, and performing volunteer work at local shelters, you will attend three weeks of hands-on training in Los Angeles learning the curriculum, training methods and dog handling, as well as our state-of-the-art software system for managing enrollments, inventory, sales, accounting and client management, as well as all other topics germane to running your business successfully. You will also receive richly-detailed curriculum guides for all classes.

Franchisee Qualifications

Absolutely no prior dog training experience is necessary. However, it goes without saying that you MUST LOVE DOGS! Franchisees should have impeccable professional appearance, charm and charisma, as this is a customer-service- oriented business. Excellent spoken and written communication skills, great attention to detail, basic computer skills, enthusiasm, passion, ambition, warmth and compassion are necessities. Having run your own business, or past experience in sales, marketing, and teaching or coaching groups of people are all great assets to bring to the table. You should have $75K of liquid capital available for this business and a net worth of at least $150K.
