Driverseat was founded in 2012 and began franchising in 2013. The two founding brothers had a mission to build a world-class franchise that would bring together like-minded entrepreneurs with a common purpose. They believe that with the right franchise partners, innovative technology and industry, along with the best training and support, they will realize that mission.
Since then, franchise partnerships have been established across Canada and the United States. The business model was intentionally designed with a low cost of entry in an industry with significant top-line revenue opportunities. As a Driverseat franchise partner, you will be entrepreneurial with a focus on sales and business development. You’ll have the benefit of scaling the business as it grows, starting with a home office to keep overhead and capital requirements low in those critical first months.
The Business Model
Business operations are fully supported by industry-leading technology, which allows you to focus on the important elements of the business like recruitment of Chauffeurs, training, and growth. All trips are managed through the Sales Portal which performs the dispatch function for your business, linking clients directly to their personal Chauffeur.
Shuttle Services
The Shuttle Services business model is offered in mid-sized fleet vans. With four distinct revenue streams, you will build your fleet based on what the demands of the community are. Primarily focused on airport transportation, charters and tours (wine tours, craft brewery tours, sporting events, etc.), wedding shuttles, and assisted transport (known as Care+), you have a comprehensive service offering that solves many transportation challenges.
These services are intuitive to market, simple to price, and allow you to quickly build revenue in your business. Each pre-scheduled trip typically generates hundreds of dollars in average revenue. Shuttles are booked by the client often weeks or months in advance, and Chauffeurs are assigned to the specific job through the dispatch technology which then tracks every aspect of the service for you. Once you have built a solid foundation of consumer-based revenue, we will teach you how to pursue and develop contract opportunities with businesses and the local government. These opportunities create recurring revenue that allows you to scale your business to greater heights.
Chauffeur Services
The Chauffeur Services business model allows you to broker Chauffeurs (drivers) by the hour or by the trip, driving your client’s vehicle. This innovative service offering provides the flexibility and exclusivity that customers are looking for, all while saving them money. Whether we’re providing a Chauffeur to take someone home in their own vehicle when they are impaired (Designated Driver) or transporting someone home after a medical procedure, this ‘feel good’ service is exactly what many people need to solve a unique challenge.
These 3 consumer services are easy to market, are pre-priced, and involve you providing Chauffeurs to drive customers’ vehicles for them. Chauffeurs are assigned to the specific job through the technology, which then tracks every aspect of the service for you. The number of customers who need this service is unlimited. Your Terminal will provide a service with true purpose, as you keep impaired drivers off the road and provide a simple and cost-effective alternative for those who are unable or choose not to drive themselves.
Training and Support
Training and support are key to our franchisee’s success. The training starts before the location is open and continues regularly through opening, and ongoing beyond that. The training and support is the perfect mix of online material, live coaching, webinars, videos, conferences, and daily support.
- New Franchisee Training: This 4-week comprehensive training program is powered by Driverseat University, but with significant live coaching, training, video sessions, and workshops.
