Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Inks Four-Store Development Agreement To Mark 100th Location in California

(Indio, CA) Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is proud to announce plans to open its 10th California location. The nation’s largest barbecue chain already boasts over 530 locations in 43 states and is one of the fastest growing franchise concepts nationwide. After Texas, the state of California has the most Dickey’s locations with new stores opening every week across the state.

Owner/Operators Michael and Margarita Tucker currently own the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location in La Quinta and have signed a development agreement to open three more stores in Indio, Moreno Valley and Redlands in 2016. An award- winning entrepreneur, Michael Tucker also owns several franchises with Dallas- based convenience store 7-Eleven. He won the prestigious Retailer Initiative award for three consecutive years with the convenience store franchise. “I have been a business owner for most of my life, but the support I receive from Dickey’s makes all the difference,” Tucker says. “Dickey’s is not only a fun and happy place to work, it has systems and processes in place to support franchisees and is committed to our success.”

“Dickey’s experienced rapid growth from 2015 to 2016 and much of that growth took place throughout the West Coast,” says Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “We are proud to announce our 100th store in California and plan to continue our expansion nationwide and abroad in the future.”
