This method ensures that the customer always receives a burger built to perfection. The restaurant is known for producing orders quickly but is not considered fast food. The restaurant offers pre-made varieties of their hamburgers with options such as “Southwest” and “The Works”. Non-beef options are also available with burgers made from other meat, including: chicken, turkey, elk, buffalo and wild boar.

Fuddruckers Franchise: History

The Fuddruckers franchise was founded in 1979 under the name Freddie Fuddruckers by Philip J. Romano in San Antonio, Texas. He left the company in 1988 to build another brand, Romano’s Macaroni Grill; the company was then purchased by Michael Cannon that same year then later by Austin-based Magic Brands and its headquarters was placed in Houston, Texas. A series of new stores were launched in August 2014 starting in Newport News, Virginia under the name Fuddruckers Deluxe; unlike the original Fuddruckers where customers order at the counter the new restaurants offer a full-service sit down style of serving. The menu includes both traditional and new items with a full wait staff and bar but does not feature the produce and fixings bar like the original Fuddruckers do.
