More Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels - Franchise HelpA recent study by Chicago-based research firm Tehnomic shows that consumers like their food on wheels.  The study found that 91 percent of survey respondents felt that the food truck fad is good and here to stay.  However, it should be noted that there is still a significant portion of the country that knows nothing of the existence of the food wagon phenomenon.  And of that group, seventy percent is hesitant to purchase food from a vehicle.  This could be a large barrier to growth in this industry.  Still,  some bigger restaurant franchises, such as the Sizzler franchise, Gold Star Chili franchise, Qdoba Mexican Grill franchise and Dairy Queen franchise participate in providing meals on wheels.
