More Job Growth For Franchises
I’m about a week late in writing about this, but I think it’s still good info to put out there for everyone to read. Last week the ADP National Franchise Report for July was released and it showed another strong growth month for franchise jobs. Amongst all the grumblings and questions that seem to be surrounding franchising in recent months it seems like people are overlooking the fact that the franchise industry is growing fast.
What the Numbers Say
If you haven’t been following the ADP monthly report’s then you might not know that 2015 has been a pretty great year so far for franchises. From January to June more than 120,000 new franchise jobs were added. But July proved to be the best month of the year so far adding a whopping 30,000 new jobs.
Over the course of the year Automotive Franchises have generated almost 9,000 new jobs per month and haven’t had a month with negative growth yet, making it easily the most consistent industry. July was no different with Automotive Franchises adding another 9,3000 new jobs. But, the real driving force for July’s franchise job growth were Restaurant Franchises which added 15,700 new jobs!
Overall things looks pretty good for franchises at the moment. Consistent job growth, month after month, suggests that most franchises have been very successful so far this year.
