Questions and Answers with Hydroshield

Q: What sets HydroShield apart from other construction and restoration opportunities? 

A: Our business opportunity has experienced unprecedented growth over the last 18 months.  This growth is attributed to our profit margins as well as the wide array of services a HydroShield Licensee can offer.  By offering multiple services and products our Licensees are able maximize profits and quadruple their average ticket price.  HydroShield is basically four business opportunities in one.    When we created our opportunity we wanted it to be simple…low overhead, easy to use systems and products and NO Royalties.  Most HydroShield jobs are bid, sold and completed in a day.

Q: Can you tell us about the business model for HydroShield?  How do your licensees make money?

A: Our business model is based on our E3 platform. Entrepreneurs Empowering Entrepreneurs.  Existing successful Licensees train, mentor and actively participate in the daily operating of a new business.  Money is generated through multiple streams of revenue.  This is accomplished through our Foundational 40 Program.  This B2C and B2B foundational program generates continuous, consistent revenue for our licensees.

Q: What is the current state of the construction and restoration industry? 

A: The new home construction industry has seen steady growth over the last couple of years.  This has been very helpful for our business.  HydroShield has been in business for 20 years.  During our 20 years we have gained a tremendous amount of experience.  The one thing we learned after the recession in 2008 is that you cannot rely on any one industry.  We feel our opportunity is recession proof as we saw steady restoration business when the construction industry was non-existent for several years.  Today we see a nice mix from both industries and our Licensees are successfully capitalizing on both.

Q: Can you describe the primary target customer for HydroShield?  How are your licensees reaching out to this target customer?

A: One word…homeowners.  Our multiple products and services enable us to provide many different solutions to challenges that homeowners face in todays marketplace.  Our marketing is geared toward our key demographic; which is women ages 35-55.  We reach our target customers by utilizing our Foundational 40 Program.  The focus of this program is for each licensee to establish 40 lead generating programs within their area.  This can be web optimization, home shows, business network groups, trade associations, direct mail campaigns, etc.  We provide our licensees a marketing budget and guide them through the process of building a solid foundation.

Q: What are the most important things a prospective licensees or employee should know or be prepared for when entering the restoration industry?

A: Be smart and be coachable!  We bring 50+ years and over a million applications to your business.  Use our knowledge and experience. Be prepared to get outside of the box when it comes to traditional business.

Q: How do you keep ahead of the curve when it comes to competitors?

A: Two things have always separated us from our competition. It is the same two things that HydroShield has been built upon.  Offering the highest quality products backed by unsurpassed customer service. This philosophy has served us well in the past and we feel will continue to serve us in the future. We will continue to choose licensees that share our philosophy when it comes to customer service.  Our unwavering commitment to R & D, constantly improving our products and systems to remain relevant in todays marketplace, will continue to keep us ahead of the competition.

Q: Where do you see HydroShield going in the next five years?

A: While we have strong licensees throughout the US, we have only touched a small percentage of the market.   There is a tremendous growth opportunity right here in North America.

Q: Are there any changes you foresee in your industry?

A: Over the last 20 years we have seen many changes within our industry.  It is impossible to predict what the future may bring.  The one thing that we can control is our ability to adapt and evolve to an ever-changing economy and marketplace.  It is this ability to adapt that has strengthened our company when many other companies have fallen by the wayside.

Q: What are some common characteristics of your top performing licensees?

A: Independent self-starters.  People who not only work hard but work smart.  We have been so fortunate to find leaders who are able to guide other people with their drive, experience, organizational skills and style.

Q: What kind of training and support can your licensees expect to receive?

A: Licensees receive extensive one on one training with sales and marketing techniques.  HydroShield University in Seattle, WA provides hands on training for systems and product application.  Sales training continues at a home show in the new licensees territory.  The home show is included with the start-up package which not only provides sales training but also acts as a catalyst generating sales leads.

Q: What kind of work background or skills set are you looking for in a licensee?

A: We are looking for entrepreneurs that are motivated, independent, teachable, leaders that are not afraid to work and ready to finally be compensated for their true value.

Q: What are your growth plans for HydroShield?  Which geographic markets are you targeting for expansion?

A: While we have proven that our concept will work in any large metropolitan city as well as a small rural town, our current expansion target areas would include Texas, California and the Northeast US.  This is based solely on consumer demand and inquiries we receive on a daily basis.

Q: What type of area development opportunities are available?

A: We treat all of our Licensees equally.  We offer the most comprehensive, turn-key opportunity on the market today.  Our opportunity is all-inclusive, providing marketing money, training, travel to our university and enough consumable product to make your initial investment back.
